It baffles me why Americans are averse to road racing, because all of the Cup road course races are littered with drama. This week the award has to go to the 7 car. After working his way up from a terrible qualifying effort, he found him self near the front of the pack. Then a really dumb pit call left them high and dry and at the end of the pack after the last pit stop. Being that far back, the wreck that insued was imminent, and relagated him to his second consecutive 36th at a track he should dominate.

Honorable mention to Scott Speed, who should have no excuse not qualifying after years of road course experience. And he finished lower than the 7 car in his 'rent-a-ride".

I forgot about that!...I saw Kerr being interviewed late in the race....hilarious times two!
